Hello! It is difficult. I also tried to find an agent first, but I ended up finding a publisher by participating in PitMad on Twitter. I would still love an agent though. Keep pitching and don't give up. I ended up self-publishing my poetry though. I just wanted to do that one on my own timeline and under my own steam, but all 4 of my romance novels are traditionally published (small press). My children are wild and wonderful. It's challenging to be a single parent, but I'm managing it well.
