I don’t disagree with all you’ve written here. I like your insights. I do, however, think that you misunderstand feminism. It isn’t the opposite of masculinity at all. Many feminists are also men. Understanding feminism is understanding the complexities surrounding gender equality. Feminism that is intersectional and inclusive can help a man with fragile masculinity come to a place of healthy gender identity where the fragile ego (which is neither male nor female) can be healed. Without an understanding of the issues that lead to his fragile masculinity, he may never be able to dismantle it.
