I read an article by someone who works for Medium who said that they are now more profitable than ever, and all recent changes have been overwhelmingly beneficial. I'm sure my comment has been deleted, but I asked if he was in contact with any of the writers for feedback. Because the writers I know are loudly saying that our income has taken a huge hit. Medium's success shouldn't be people behind the scenes profiting off our work while taking money from our pockets. The sign of success should be with happy, paid, and fulfilled writers providing quality content to readers. That's not what's happening. But Medium isn't answering, and it leaves me feeling like the people at the top just don't care.
