I think it's nice to enjoy your own company and make your life what you want it to be. The investment in trying to find a mate can be time consuming and anxiety provoking. At a certain point, there's something to be said for enjoying the single life and just remaining open to someone coming along without any sense of disappointment if that doesn't happen.
