It absolutely means something demeaning. You're hearing it from me as well as the many women who have responded here. Your opinion about how it is experienced by women is irrelevant. You're being told it is actively harmful and perpetuates rape culture. What you choose to do with that information is on you, but you can't say you've never heard that this term is unwelcome and demeaning.
