The problem with that comes back to the kids. We won't them to have the magic of the holidays, and a strike would hurt them the most. As a woman who was married to a man who didn't care about Christmas, it wouldn't have hurt his feelings if I went on strike, but it would have been a terrible disappointment to our kids. Frankly, I'm at the point in my life where I'm silently screaming "divorce him!" every time a woman says that she's doing it all. That's the real all-or-nothing approach. Someone who can't be a full partner at the holidays probably isn't pulling their weight the rest of the year either. I know that sounds extreme, and I don't expect other people to feel the way that I do, but I personally don't plan to tolerate that in my life any longer.
