Is that supposed to save me the time saying thank you? Save him the cost of an incredibly affordable drink that he offered to buy? Very interesting. Perhaps you should spend some time in reflection as to why your immediate reaction to this statement is to suggest that the problem is that I didn’t pay for myself without knowing any more about the situation than a drink was bought for me, and I was raised with manners.
